Colorado Audi Dealer, McDonald Audi, has recently announced the recipient of their 5 star spotlight of excellence award, an award given to employees who go above and beyond what they are called to do.

Kurtz's love for the automotive industry started as at very young age. "Even before I could drive, I have been working on cars," describes Matt Kurtz, McDonald Audi Service Advisor Assistant "I was always the go-to guy when friends/family needed work done on their cars, so I decided I should do it for a living!"

Matt decided to further his career in the automotive industry by studying Automotive Technology and Business Management at Wyotech in Laramie, Wy. After his Automotive college Kurtz was offered a entry level tech job at McDonald Mazda in March of 2011. Due to Matt's strong work ethic and love for cars, he was then promoted to work at McDonald Audi in September 2011 and has been there every since and after seven months, he was then asked to work at McDonald Audi at the Service Advisor Assistant.

"After working as a tech for a few months I thought it would be fun to get into service writing," says Mr. Kurtz. "I've always enjoyed working with our customers, so when I was offered to move to Audi to train for the position I was very excited!"

McDonald Audi has built a strong reputation for always putting their customers first and knows that having dedicated employees such as Matt Kurtz on their team is what makes this possible. Kurtz's explains how he looks forward to coming into work everyday to because he loves working with the customers and he also loves Audi.

"I have been lucky to have driven every model; including the v8 R8 and the new v10 R8, awesome cars," explained Mr. Kurtz. "Also love being able to talk all of our true Audi enthusiasts and hear their great stories about taking their Audi's to the tracks."
